Agents

Chat is how you direct work. Agents gather context, choose tools, draft changes, ask for approval, and keep track of progress across your workspace.

Chat

Chat is the conversation surface for anything that takes more than a click. It stays connected to your workspace, visible apps, notes, files, and services.

Ask for outcomes

Write what you want done, not just the next action. Include the goal and any constraints that matter.

"Prepare me for the 2pm Acme call."
"Compare these two tabs and tell me which vendor is safer for our launch."
"Draft the follow-up."

Add context

  • Mention notes, files, tabs, or workspaces from the input.
  • Drag files or images into chat.
  • Highlight text in a supported surface and add it to chat. Interface supports highlighting text in browser tabs and notes.
  • Keep relevant apps visible in the workspace when the agent should reason over them.

What agents do

  • Read visible pages, notes, files, and connected service data.
  • Draft messages, documents, plans, summaries, and code changes.
  • Update services you connect, when you approve the action.
  • Organize workspaces and keep longer-running tasks moving.

Follow progress

Agent activity appears in chat and on Home. You can see what is running, what finished, what needs review, and what failed.

Approvals

When the agent needs to act, Interface shows what it is about to do. Approvals are how Interface keeps you in control: you can allow an action once, remember a decision for similar future actions, or deny it.

Background work

Some tasks take time. Agents can continue while you switch workspaces, then report back when they need input or when the work is complete.
