Workspaces

A workspace is environment for a task, project, or context. It remembers the apps, tabs, notes, layout, and chat that belong together.

Create a workspace for anything you return to: a customer, a writing project, a trip, a support issue, or a coding task. Interface keeps the context together so you can switch away and come back without rebuilding the setup.

Desk and drawer

The Desk contains the apps and tabs currently visible on screen. The Drawer holds tabs that belong to the workspace but do not need to be open right now.

  • Move a tab to the Desk when you need it in view.
  • Move a tab to the Drawer when you want to keep it nearby without clutter.
  • Ask the agent to clean up a workspace when the layout gets crowded.

Layouts

Layouts make the workspace fit your task and screen. Interface intelligently arranges apps so the workspace shows what you need, when you need it.

  • On a small single screen, Interface keeps one primary app visible at a time and stacks the rest behind it so the workspace stays focused.
  • On a large display or multiple screens, Interface tiles apps across the available space so related work can stay visible together.
  • Chat remains available alongside the active layout, letting you keep guidance and context close while the apps adapt around your task.

Switching context

Switching workspaces changes the active set of apps, tabs, and chat context. Use it when you move from one goal to another instead of juggling unrelated windows on the same desktop.
